Take this Youth Survey to tell organizations & communities how they can better support young people.

  • What is this survey about? This survey is about your feelings and opinions about national events that happened during the past year, and about what you have seen in your community during that time.

  • Who can take this survey? Anyone who is between the ages of 13 and 18, and who lives in the United States, can take the survey.

  • Will anyone know what my answers were? This survey is anonymous. We may share parts of what you say in the survey, but no one will know who said them.

  • Can I choose not to take the survey? Yes. You can stop the survey at any time by closing the web page. Choosing not to take the survey, or stopping before the end, will not affect you in any way.

  • Are there any benefits? There are no direct benefits to you for taking the survey. You will not receive any money or gifts for taking the survey.

  • Are there any risks? Some people may feel upset when taking the survey if it asks about events that were upsetting. Otherwise, there are no known risks to taking the survey.

  • How will you use the information? We will use the survey results to learn how organizations and communities can support young people. We will also share some of the thoughts and comments you submit with the public, including community leaders and elected officials.

  • How long will it take? The survey takes about 10 minutes.
